At first look, I got the impression that you were looking down a mountainside to a snow covered valley floor until I noticed the angle of the trees in comparison to the forest floor... The different angles of the trees almost make the photo a puzzel. My wife just walked in and I asked her what she saw and her answer was that you were looking down a hillside at a fog covered river. It all comes down to percepton I guess. Thus the old saying "First Impressions Are Not Always True" . Amazing shot.
